What a brilliant, fast-paced read this is. I thoroughly enjoyed gallavanting around the world with the very likeable and amusing Fred Moreton-Harvey. The plot is fast and exciting and set against some incredible backdrops as the locations spring to life from the pages. Each headache at altitude and blow is felt as you root for the protagonist to outsmart the dark Sergei Lukic and at each page you are left in awe of the fantastic spy games. I think this one will be a movie blockbuster. I whole-heartedly recommend this, I couldn't put it down.

If you like James Bond, Spooks and the Bourne Ultimatum then you are in for a treat with this fast paced action thriller which sees protagonist Fred take on the entire Chinese government plus a totally pyschopathic Serbian in locations as diverse as Hong Kong, The Himalayas, London, Geneva and the Swiss Alps. Fred is an engaging old-school British hero who is fighting for his country as well as for revenge. Expect gruesome murders, terrifyingly close escapes and ultimate retribution.
